Jim Breuer Mocks Damar Hamlin's Heart Attack To Huge Cheers At Conservative Christian Event

Jim Breuer got hearty applause at ReAwaken America event after his joke mocking Damar Hamlin's heart attack.

Comedian Jim Breuer—best known for playing the character "Goat Boy" on Saturday Night Live from 1995 to 1998—recently joked about Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin's in game cardiac arrest.

Breuer was performing at a conservative Evangelical Christian nationalist event called the ReAwaken America Tour.

Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest on the field after making a tackle during a game. He was thankfully revived via CPR and an automated external defibrillator (AED) before being rushed to the hospital.

He is now recovering at home—but his near-death experience was far from comical.

Breuer also made fun of his in-laws for choosing to get the influenza vaccine COVID boosters, his mocking facial expressions and mannerisms making it very clear he believed this decision made them stupid.

He further joked about those who choose not to vaccinate being seen as conspiracy theorists, which apparently resonated quite strongly with the crowd judging by their uproarious laughter.

Then Breuer didn't just crack a joke about Hamlin while perpetuating the latest conspiracy theory about vaccines causing spontaneous deaths. As a response to mocking people who don't believe anti-vaxxer rhetoric, Breuer said "Here in the NFL" before dropping face-first to the floor on stage.

This attempt at physical comedy was met by a roar of laughter and cheers from the crowd. He had to pause for nearly 30 seconds to wait for the raucous laughter to subside.

A clip of the routine was posted by Hemant Mehta of Only Sky:

Many online were horrified at Breuer's jokes, and even more were disgusted the devout Christian audience was laughing.

Others just cringed.

Given the venue and the message of the rest of the ReAwaken America Tour, Breuer's incredibly offensive jokes begin to make a bit more sense.

The show took place at Pastor Greg Locke's Global Vision Bible Church tent in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. The event caused some pretty major inconveniences for locals and more than a little bit of concern, according to The Tennessean.

Six area faith leaders gathered for a news conference on Friday morning to denounce the ReAwaken America Tour and the Christian Nationalism preached by those who participate in it as wrong—"sinful" even.

Rev. Jason Mikel, the pastor of Jenkins Cumberland Presbyterian Church, said of Christian nationalism:

"Just like all sinful teachings, it might look interesting under some odd and strange light…But turn the light on of Christ and you’ll see the beast who feeds and devours on those who they deem as weak."

Gavin Newsom Hilariously Trolls Trump For Struggling To Stay Awake During Antifa Roundtable

California Governor Gavin Newsom mocked President Donald Trump for appearing to fall asleep during a White House roundtable about Antifa, which the administration recently designated a "domestic terror organization" even though it's not an organization at all.

Antifa is a loose network of anti-fascist activists with no central structure, no funding, no membership roster, and no offices or leadership hierarchy for prosecutors to target.

Remote Worker Speaks Out After Job Uses 'Dystopian' Software To Track His Productivity

There are a few vital truths to every office-based job. First, there are going to be "busy work" moments, from meetings to admin tasks to minor side-quest-style projects that add to the company in some small way but otherwise feel like a waste of time.

Second, as human beings, we all need breaks to restore our mental focus, so a person who occasionally scrolls through their personal email, sends a few texts to a friend, or even scrolls Instagram for a few minutes, will likely be more productive than those who attempt to lock in and do nothing but their job throughout their entire shift.
