The pianist took to Twitter mid-ceremony to assure viewers she was not actually playing winners off.

Pianist Chloe Flower flawlessly and passionately entertained the audience - both in attendance and at home - during the 80th Annual Golden Globes Awards on Tuesday night.

The renowned artist filled commercial breaks with incredibly-keyed renditions of our favorite soundtrack tunes from films such as The Little Mermaid, Top Gun, and even The Exorcist, all arranged by Flower herself.

However, during the ceremony, several lengthy acceptance speeches were interrupted with music, and many on social media believed Flower was playing the winners off.

During her speech, Best Actress winner Michelle Yeoh even responded to the intrusive music saying, "Shut up, please. I can beat you up, OK? It's that serious."

Flower took to Twitter to address the misdirected backlash.

She tweeted:

"I would never play piano over people's speeches!!"
"I'm only playing when you see me on camera!"

Golden Globes host Jerrod Carmichael even introduced Flower and clarified for the audience that the music playing during speeches was pre-recorded.

Others also rallied in support of Flower.

Of course, many responded just to share their amazement at Flower's talent.

Flower shared her excitement in an interview for the Golden Globes.:

"I've been watching them since I was little, but up until this Golden Globes, I've never seen a live musician playing."
"I think it's really cool and it will be an intimate vibe, solo piano only."
"I've never done anything like this. The Globes have never seen anything like this."
"I think it's going to be such a unique experience for them to see a live musician."

Flower—a Korean American performer—released her single "Golden Hour" just this year via Sony.

You can hear her perform in her official video for her song "Tamie" here:

She has collaborated with artists such as Celine Dion, Meek Mill and Cardi B.

We look forward to much more of Flower in the future!
