The Hitman star couldn't be on hand for his lookalike competition in Austin, Texas, on Sunday—but he did announce that the winner gets a cameo in his next film.

Glen Powell put a fun spin on a lookalike contest in Austin, Texas.

Though Powell couldn’t attend since he’s filming The Running Man in the U.K., his mother and aunt judged the event.

The winner, physician’s assistant Maxwell Braunstein, received $5, a cowboy hat, free queso for a year, and a FaceTime message from Powell.

During the call, Powell joked about assembling his lookalikes for a heist, and he announced the prize: a cameo for the winner’s parent or family member in his next movie.

“You may know that my parents make a cameo in every movie I make, but today the winner of the Glen Powell lookalike contest wins their parents, or any family member of their choice, a cameo in my next movie. I am completely serious. This is a cash-value prize of $6 billion.”

People were impressed.

The potential return was worth the effort.

But in all seriousness, a cameo for oneself or family member is a great prize.

Referring to a meme that says that Powell looks a little like a capybara, people called on the South American rodent.

People who didn’t go sure missed out on a great experience.

The contest follows a recent trend of celebrity lookalike events.

Powell’s next project is The Running Man, which is slated for release in November 2025.
