The Kiss rocker stuck up for the 'cool' pop star after her look at the iHeart Radio Music Awards prompted ridicule and backlash.

Gene Simmons came to the defense of JoJo Siwa after her Kiss-inspired look drew hefty criticism from fans.

On Monday, Siwa shed her signature bright colors and big bow, opting instead to attend the iHeart Radio Music Awards decked out in a sparkly sheer black and silver catsuit with edgy face paint to complete the look.

Almost immediately, people online expressed their disapproval.

Many also commented on the outfit's resemblance to Kiss attire.

But one person who stuck up for Siwa and her wild ensemble was Kiss rocker Gene Simmons, who told TMZ the haters are just "jealous" of her "cool" new look.

“JoJo is cool. Anybody who doesn’t get it is just jealous, period."

He continued, encouraging her to keep expressing herself:

“Never be ordinary. Always be extraordinary."
"JoJo is extraordinary and she looks cool.”

And of their similar looks, Simmons said he doesn't mind at all, adding:

“Of course she looks like me, but that’s another story.”

Several people on social media applauded Simmons for defending the pop star.

And many agreed that Siwa looked cool.

Last month, Siwa revealed she was entering her adult era, with her new music targeted toward a more mature audience, beginning with her newly released song "Karma."

And the former Dance Moms stars completely understands the pushback, telling E! News:

"People are afraid of things they don't know."
"Things can be scary for people. New things can be very, very scary."

Trump's Dismissive Reaction To Concerns About Insider Trading Amid His War With Iran Speaks Infuriating Volumes

In an article for CounterPunch titled "Trump’s Casino Royale: The Iran War," Matthew Stevenson wrote:

"Given that Donald Trump conceives of the presidency as a casino—why else would he be trying to makeover the White House to look like the Bellagio?—it makes sense that his administration has turned the war with Iran into an insider-trading scheme."
"It used to be that wars were fought to make 'the world safe for democracy' or 'to end all wars' (a World War I expression), but now wars are fought so that Trump insiders can get rich quick in prediction markets or to help the president’s family (and its remittance men) corner the Persian Gulf oil market."

Pointing out who is profiting off inflating oil prices and creating false scarcity, Stevenson added:
