As the country looks to reopen in the following weeks, we have a lot of questions.

As usual, Elon Musk thinks he has the answers.

Musk previously claimed he alone could save a group of trapped boys in a Thailand cave and solve the water crisis in Flint, Michigan within hours or days. Ultimately, Musk contributed nothing tangible or helpful to either effort.

As for the current pandemic and reopening, people wonder if it's too soon. How do we do this safely? Is it even possible to do this safely at all?

Probably the last question any of us thought to ask was what would a rivalry between Elon Musk and Jeopardy! champ Ken Jennings look like. But that's the one we got answered.

It all started when Musk announced his Tesla factory would be reopening.

The Tesla factory in Alameda County had received approval from California Governor Gavin Newsom to reopen. However, county officials overturned that decision, due to safety concerns.

Musk, ever ready to run his mouth against all caution, did precisely that in the tweet above.

While many criticized or defended the stance across the internet, famous Jeopardy! champion, Ken Jennings couldn't help himself and made a joke at Musk's expense.

He had us fooled in the first half, not gonna lie.

Musk was quick to respond.

If there's one thing two famous nerd figures bring out, it's a nerd fight in the comments. And that's exactly what we had here.

The Twitter responses had people for Musk, for Jennings and those who are just over Musk and his empty promises.

Musk is no stranger to a tweeting controversy. For a long time, he was in hot water over announcing plans to maybe take Tesla private, with the funding for that already secured.

However, the ensuing SEC investigation led to Musk forced out as the chairman of Tesla, millions of dollars in fines and in-house counsel to review Musk's tweets. You'd think that last one would have a bigger effect on his Twitter behavior.

Despite this, Musk still tweets out nonsense that brings the internet together in dunking on the billionaire.

Musk has recently worked out an agreement with the Alameda County regarding the reopening of the Tesla factory. The County released a statement advising that if Tesla adds some safety recommendations to its plans, it could get permission to open next week.

No one has been arrested and local law enforcement said there were no plans to arrest anyone or issue citations.

Dem Senator Speaks Out After He Was Thrown To Ground And Handcuffed For Questioning Kristi Noem At LA Press Conference

California Democratic Senator Alex Padilla spoke out after disturbing footage showed him getting dragged out of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's press conference in Los Angeles yesterday for trying to ask a question—only for law enforcement to shove him to the ground and handcuff him.

Padilla introduced himself and merely said he had "questions for the secretary" at Noem's press conference addressing President Donald Trump's deployment of members of the National Guard, and later the Marines, in response to protests in Los Angeles against the Trump administration's immigration raids.

Vance Tried To Make A Joke About Seeing 'Les Misérables' At The Kennedy Center—And It's Peak Cringe

Vice President JD Vance had people groaning after he made a bad joke about the production of Les Misérables he and his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance, attended at the Kennedy Center with President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

The musical, set in 19th century France, tells the story of Jean Valjean, an ex-convict who is released from prison for stealing a loaf of bread. The story touches on timeless themes such as justice and mercy—and also happens to be about people resisting an authoritarian takeover, which many find ironic given the Trump administration's response to protests in Los Angeles.
