Dolly Parton Just Shared Rare Photos With Her Sister Rachel—And Fans Are Doing A Double-Take

Fans couldn't help but notice the similarity between Dolly and her younger sister, Rachel Parton George, after the country legend shared photos of the pair on Instagram ahead of the release of their new cookbook.

Many of us have that one sibling that makes people wonder if we just might be twins, and country legend Dolly Parton is apparently one of them.

Parton, 78, had fans all over the internet doing double takes after posting a photo of herself alongside her little sister Rachel Parton George, because the likeness between the two is uncanny.

But it's not just that the sisters look alike; they seem to have adopted the same sort of style, as well.

Parton posted photos to Instagram of her and Rachel laughing together over some food to promote the cookbook they're collaborating on.

In her caption, she wrote:

"The best part of creating this cookbook is getting to spend quality time with my sister Rachel ❤️"
"We can’t wait to share our recipes with you all, pre-order now at the link in my bio!"

But what really stood out to fans was not so much the food and the cookbook as Dolly's seeming doppelganger sat beside her.

Fittingly, Parton previously announced on Instagram that the cookbook will be called Good Lookin’ Cookin'. That Instagram post featured Rachel too, but in a bit more subdued look than the more recent post.

Since then, Rachel appears to have taken style cues from her big sister.

Though her look doesn't appear to be quite as extreme as Dolly's, big blond hair and lots of makeup is the name of the game in the new photos, just like Dolly's decades-long iconic look.

And fans could not get enough of Parton's spitting image little sister.

For others though, it was the obvious sisterly bond between Dolly and Rachel that shone through the brightest.

Parton and Rachel have a whopping 10 other siblings—including, oddly enough, Rachel's twin sister Freida, who followed in Dolly's footsteps as a singer for a time. Another Parton sister, Stella, is also a musician who's still recording and touring regularly.

Rachel and Dolly's cookbook comes out September 17.
