The 99-year-old Mary Poppins star and his wife Arlene were forced to evacuate their home in Malibu due to raging wildfire, and were concerned when their beloved cat Bobo escaped as they were trying to leave—but Bobo was soon united with his owners, much to fans' delight.

On December 10, Dick Van Dyke shared on social media that he and his wife Arlene Silver were forced to evacuate their home in Malibu due to raging wildfires.

They were able to gather all of their animals during the evacuation, but their beloved cat Bobo escaped as they were leaving.

Thankfully, the Mary Poppins star updated his fans with some happy news a couple of days later.

The newly-turned 99-year-old actor said in his post immediately following the evacuation:

“Arlene and I have safely evacuated with our animals except for Bobo, who escaped as we were leaving."
“We’re praying he’ll be ok and that our community in Serra Retreat will survive these terrible fires.”

Later that day, Van Dyke shared an adorable video of Bobo from a few years earlier, captioning the post:

"Hoping Bobo is ok"

Given the magnitude of support from fans and magic of social media, Van Dyke reported the next day that animal control had gotten involved and Bobo was found safe and sound, commenting on his first post:

"We found Bobo as soon as we arrived back home this morning."
"There was so much interest in his disappearance that Animal Control was called in to assist. But, thankfully he was easy to find and not harmed ❤️"

Dem Rep. Offers Brutally Accurate Reason For Why He Can't Understand 'The Mind Of Donald Trump'

Massachusetts Democratic Representative Seth Moulton made a fitting observation about President Donald Trump's mind after Trump gave a 20-minute address to the nation about his war in Iran on Wednesday evening.

Trump claimed “core strategic objectives are nearing completion” in the Iran war and vowed to strike Iran "extremely hard" over the next two to three weeks. He said that he would finish the job "very fast," without setting any timeline for ending the war. He pledged to "bring them [Iranians] back to the Stone Ages, where they belong.”

Racist Guy Caught On Video Tearing Through Iraqi Soccer Fans' Banner At Dallas Airport: 'Don't Come To America'

With the United States set to host the 2026 World Cup, a video out of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is drawing attention for a very different reason: showing a man ripping apart an Iraqi soccer fan’s banner and telling them, “Don’t come to America.”

The video, posted on Instagram, shows a group of Iraqi sports fans standing in an airport holding a banner with Arabic and Spanish writing. The fans were there to support Iraq during their World Cup qualifier against Bolivia, which resulted in a 2-1 upset victory earlier that day.
