Very few people had seen it, and he could never go shirtless at the pool, lake, etc. His father punched him in the face when he saw it. I was eventually told that it was a large and very detailed tattoo of the devil hooking up with a girl. He was a white-collar office guy, supposedly he got the tattoo on a drunken bender with his mates. It was a point of eternal shame for him."
