Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have had a tough year.
And now the family seems to have lost their pet hamster....though they don't seem so broken up about it.
Though people began responding with sympathy and real-life stories of their own pet losses.
Immediately Teigen posted a follow-up to show just how not-broken-up the family is.
The stocking reads "New P Butter," implying the family already has another hamster named "New Peanut Butter."
She's also not exactly sure when he died.
In a now deleted tweet, Teigen said Peanut Butter's death "hurts like it happened today but it happened uhhhh not today, I dunno I forget lmao."
We wish our condolences...we think? And our happiness for the new member of the family...we think?
