Have you ever read something where you just KNOW the writer talks with their hands, does the sound effects, and would bust out a little dance if it suited the story? That's Erica. She's a colorful storyteller whose sense of humor and fearless honesty make a big impact. Her rants might go for the emotional jugular, hit your funny bone, or shock you and your mama out of your fajas. Usually it's all three. Often chronicling her life in Florida, her stories are full of characters like "Bikini Rifle Lady", "Mariachi Neighbor," and "Barbara The NextDoor Evangelist." There's almost always a message in the madness, and that's what people connect with most. Also her deep and undying love for Tevin Campbell. You can find more of her work at www.EricaFazio.com

Imagine you're out to dinner at a restaurant with a few friends or family members. Everyone has gathered for your birthday.

Imagine you've already had your meal and it's time for last drinks, coffees, and dessert.

Imagine restaurant staff coming up to the table to sing "Happy Birthday" to you and your group.

Is anyone in your imaginary scenario a robot?

Probably not, but if you happen to celebrate your birthday at Chili's then there's a small chance you might find yourself getting serenaded by Rita.

As in Rita the Robot.

TikTok user @allllllllllywestttttttt - named Ally - found herself unexpectedly staring down a singing robot after her meal at one of the 50+ Chili's locations that have a Rita the Robot.

Ally and her group weren't aware of Rita before it came rolling up to their table to serenade the squad, which lead to some pretty interesting reactions among the group.

And TikTok users, who were honestly not that into Rita... though some tried to look on the bright side.

Especially when people noticed she rolled up to the table with no cake or other dessert for the birthday guest.

So we got awkward singing, a traumatic robot scare, a robot that sounds like Barbie ... and no dessert?

TikTok is not having it.

What about you?

How would you feel about having a robot sing Happy Birthday to you at a restaurant rather than having servers come to your table to sing?

Would the lack of cake make this better or worse for you?

Texas Conservatives Are Up In Arms After Receiving Pamphlets For Trans Teens—Except Republicans Are Behind It All

Texas Republicans have lashed out after receiving pamphlets for transgender teenagers about gender-affirming care even though the pamphlets' origins show that the call is very much coming from inside the house.

Although the pamphlets distributed at the start of Texas’s early voting period claim to come from the Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT), a legitimate organization, the materials are fraudulent, the group has confirmed.

George Santos Just Threw His Hat In The Ring For White House Press Secretary—And The Reactions Are Priceless

Disgraced former New York Republican Representative George Santos was widely mocked after he threw his name in the mix to replace former White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia, who was fired after just five days on the job.

Santos, whose political career was derailed by allegations of fabricating his background, misusing campaign funds for luxury items and Botox, and leaving a trail of victims behind him as a known fraud and identity thief, has been soapboxing significantly since President Donald Trump commuted his prison sentence in October 2025.

Trump Was Just Asked If He'll Endorse JD Vance For President In 2028 With Vance Standing Right Behind Him—And It's A Big Yikes

President Donald Trump dodged a question about whether he'll endorse Vice President JD Vance in the 2028 presidential election with Vance standing right behind him.

Speaking in the Oval Office on Tuesday while announcing a new whistleblower rewards program, Trump was asked by a reporter if he could remark on the fact that "the vice president said in an interview yesterday that he thought that you would endorse him if he does decide to run in 2028."
