Pete Buttigieg Subtly Trolls Trump Over His Bizarre Obsession With Pete Riding His Bike To Work

After President Trump's recent rants about former Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg riding his bike to work, Buttigieg trolled Trump with a post on social media.

In a post on social media, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg mocked President Donald Trump for being so fixated on Buttigieg choosing to ride his bike to work.

Trump has on multiple occasions blamed Buttigieg for a host of different issues facing airports during Trump's second term, issues exacerbated by the administration's indiscriminate moves to gut federal spending by way of the advisory Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Shortly after taking office, Trump said the following about Buttigieg:

“You know, he drives to work on his bicycle with his, with his, in all fairness, with his husband on the back, which is a nice loving relationship. But he didn’t have a clue. This guy… didn’t have a clue.”

You can hear what Trump said in the video below.

A week later in Qatar, Trump revisited the topic—this time leaving out any mention of Buttigieg’s husband and instead zeroing in on the bicycle, using it as a springboard to blame current airport issues on former President Joe Biden and Buttigieg.

He said:

“Pete Buttigieg was the head [of the Department of Transportation] and he goes bicycling to work. He takes a bicycle to work. Can you believe— he’s running the biggest air system in the world, and he takes a bicycle to work."
"What a— and they say he’s going to run for president. I don’t see it. Who knows, right? But I don’t see it.”

You can hear what he said in the video below.

Although Buttigieg has not spoken to Trump about any of this—and why would he?—he issued the following shady post via his BlueSky account that includes a picture of a road in Traverse City, Michigan, where he lives:

"It’s a perfect Up North Michigan morning. Good day for a bike ride, eh?"

People loved his response.

He's worried about how popular you are, if he's saying that - god forbid we have bikes! Brilliant. 🙌

Neil Young Rips Trump For Attacking Bruce Springsteen Instead Of Fixing 'The Mess You Made'

Music icon Neil Young criticized President Donald Trump for attacking rocker Bruce Springsteen, saying that Trump spends more time "thinking about what rockers are saying" than focusing on helping the American people.

During a recent concert in Manchester, England, Springsteen called out Trump, denouncing a “corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration.” The rock legend also condemned Trump's approach to dissent, saying U.S. authorities under Trump “are persecuting people for using their right to speech and voicing their dissent.”

On Tuesday, the White House celebrated their annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. Officially celebrated nationally on the third Thursday of April, participants are especially encouraged to bring children to workplaces where their gender, race, or ethnicity has historically been underrepresented.

The event has parents, guardians, and other family members introduce the children in their lives to all that their job entails to both spark the child's interest in the profession and give them a better understanding of what their family member does every day at work.

NFL Star Jalen Hurts Offers Blunt Response When Asked Why He Skipped White House Visit

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts offered a blunt response when a reporter asked him why he didn't attend his Super Bowl-winning team's White House visit to meet President Donald Trump.

Hurts was reserved when asked by Time magazine last month whether he planned to attend. He went viral after video showed he could only squirm and try not to look into the camera before walking away. The reporter who spoke to him at the time could only stand there, also pretty awkwardly, we assume, before muttering a quick "thank you."
