While much more civil than the chaotic presidential debate last month, the vice presidential debate between Vice President Mike Pence and Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) wasn't without its memorable moments.

While Pence may have done significant preparation before facing off with the formidable former prosecutor, the most viral moment for the Vice President came off the top of his head...literally.

As Pence pretended that systemic racism doesn't exist in the United States, a fly landed on his head and remained there for over two minutes.

Watch below.

Before the debate was even over, multiple satirical Twitter accounts for the fly on Pence's head were created, and the moment became meme gold.

It wasn't long before the Biden/Harris campaign seized on the viral moment by selling novelty fly swatters.

The "Truth over Flies Fly Swatter," marketed at $10, sold out by the morning after the debate.

People applauded the latest item for sale on the campaign's website.

Meanwhile, the memes kept rolling in.

The future of the next presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden is uncertain.

With Trump testing positive for the virus last week, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced that the next debate would be held virtually. Trump said he would not be bothering with a virtual debate.
