Those 'Avengers: Endgame' Posters Have Inspired People To Photoshop Tributes To Their Own 'Fallen' Heroes

A new set of posters for Avengers: Endgame dropped on Tuesday, featuring the ominous tagline "Avenge the Fallen" alongside portraits of the many stars of the Marvel Universe.

To add extra intrigue to the portraits, the characters in full color survived Thanos's deadly snap at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, while those in black and white had sadly been turned to dust.

Not only did this color scheme confirm some of the deaths we'd already witnessed, it also revealed the fate of several characters who were offscreen at the end of Infinity War.

Of course, Twitter quickly decided to take advantage of the somber black and white format to make some pop culture references.

Thanos's snap didn't just affect superheroes, after all!

These characters deserve justice.

Some have died multiple times across multiple realities!

These characters may be gone, but they are far from forgotten.

Others falls were more literal...

People will not rest until Thanos's victims have been revived.

The meme was even daring enough to go to the next level!
