Twitter Is Up In Arms Over Video Of Alex Trebek Dragging A 'Jeopardy!' Contestant...From 4 Years Ago

Alex Trebek, who has been called an "American Institution" after spending the last 36 years hosting Jeopardy!, is known for being pretty serious and dry on the show.

But every once in awhile, he comes out with a zinger—like that time in 2016 that fans just seem to be discovering now.

Susan Cole from Maryland didn't expect what was about to happen when Alex approached her for the "get to know the contestants" bit of the show.

"Her favorite type of music is something I've never heard of, but it doesn't sound like fun," he began, immediately savage.

Cole rolled with the punches:

"I think it's very fun. It's called nerd-core hip-hop....video games, science fiction, having a hard time meeting romantic partners."

And then Alex went right for the jugular:

"Losers, in other words."

Unfortunately, this comment didn't go over so well with several folks on the internet.

In fact, a lot of the Nerdcore scene started dissing Alex across the board.

But it turns out that Cole did okay, walking away with $20,600 in winnings from the episode, and went on to win $67,800 in a three-episode winning streak.

Alex Trebek is currently in the middle of a fight with pancreatic cancer in stage 4.

The final new episode of Jeopardy! to be taped before the country went on lockdown will air May 1st, followed by several compilations of Jeopardy!'s greatest moments.

Hopefully there will be a compilation of Alex being absolutely savage.

Pope Leo's Brother Sparks Outrage Over Vile Posts About Nancy Pelosi And Parents Of Trans Kids

The brother of Robert Prevost, a Chicago-born Roman Catholic Augustine cleric who last week became the newly-elected Pope Leo XIV, is facing heated criticism after some of his older Facebook posts resurfaced and revealed that he'd shared a video calling Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi a "drunk c**nt" as well as a transphobic meme about transgender children.

For instance, in an April 23 post, Prevost claimed that former President Obama desired “the total destruction of our way of life” and aimed to turn the U.S. into a dictatorship, adding that it would be “a racist one on top of it.” He had previously pushed a conspiracy theory alleging that “OBAMA WAS A CIA ASSET, PUT IN PLACE TO DESTROY THE USA.”
