From the moment society assigns a gender to an infant, they're treated differently.

We won't get into the studies showing people react differently to the same baby dressed in stereotypical male versus female clothing. Or all the messaging children have received by age five—before they begin school full-time—about how genders are supposed to act, react and what's appropriate to like.

We'll just say that by the time we reach adulthood, we've been fed millions of messages in regards to our assigned gender.

Like flowers are for females only and any man who enjoys flowers will have his masculinity and sexuality questioned or outright mocked.

Which is total BS.

Recognizing the stereotypes and double standards, Tumblr user snazzy-lester shared their story on the platform.

They wrote:

"...there was this post talking about how boys love flowers too and no one ever gets them any or like cares..."
"SO we were doing awkward icebreakers in class and I decided to ask the guy next to me what his favorite flower was..."
"...he looked at me with a huge smile and said sunflowers and I think we should all just raise awareness that boys like flowers to."

From Tumblr it went to Twitter

Twitter user BobaFettish cosigned on that sentiment and shared snazzy-lester's post on Twitter, captioned:

"Now I'm curious!"
"Men only, what's your favorite flower?"

And men were more than ready and willing to share.

Men from across the Twitterverse shared their favorites.

Some included personal stories of why the flower meant so much to them or how it became their favorite.

Others shared photos from their own gardens and flower beds.

Trump Made A Petty Dig At Taylor Swift During The Eagles' White House Visit—Because Of Course

President Donald Trump was called out after he made a petty dig at pop star Taylor Swift during his speech for the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles' visit to the White House.

In a brief speech, Trump acknowledged the Eagles' 40–22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs was “a little surprising,” a remark that appeared to reference the Chiefs' consecutive Super Bowl victories in 2023 and 2024. He then shifted focus to Swift, getting in a petty swipe drawing attention to Swift's presence at the game to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, play tight end for the losing team.
