Sarah Huckabee Sanders Thinks The Media Should Take 'Opinion' Out Of The News—And The Irony Is Rich
Fox Business

Former Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders had eyes rolling after saying the media needs to take "the opinion out of the news" during an interview on the Fox Business channel.

During an appearance on Varney & Co. on Wednesday, Sanders, who has seamlessly shifted into her new role as a Fox News contributor, slammed the media after The New York Times published a controversial book excerpt in their Opinion section regarding new sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

When asked if she thought The Times might be "reborn" because of the scandal, Sanders responded:

"I think the all of the media needs to take a good, hard look at how they put the news out. It's gotten so much where there's no process, there's no accountability, no check and balance."

She then called out both CNN and Politico for having "major gaffes in their coverage" in the past week.

Sanders then lamented the current state of news coverage, saying:

"I think that we have to start taking so much of the opinion out of the news. It's a good news story if you can read it and you have no idea which side the journalist is on, and it's very hard to find that.
"There's a big difference between commentators and news and we have blended those so that there is no difference anymore and we've got to go back where those are separate."

And they called her out for it.

And while Sanders makes a somewhat valid point about bias in journalism, she's not exactly the right person to voice it.

And, to be honest, it's not really in her best interest if she'd like to keep her current job.

But, if she insists...

Trump Dragged After Making Outrageous Comparison To Zohran Mamdani In Viral Clip

President Donald Trump was widely mocked after he asserted during a 60 Minutes interview with Norah O'Donnell that he's "much better-looking" than New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani—a claim that not a soul is taking seriously.

Trump isn't exactly known to be a looker but he has nonetheless declared himself a "perfect physical specimen" and boasted about his physical prowess, once noting that his own White House physician had declared him "healthier than Obama"—despite Trump's distaste for exercise and fondness for fast food.
