Joe Rogan Uses Bonkers Quote To Claim Biden Is Mentally 'Done'—Only To Realize Trump Said It

The podcast host tried to slam President Biden's mental competence over a quote about 'airports' during the Revolutionary War, only to be shown video that proves it was Trump who actually said it.

Conservative podcast host Joe Rogan was criticized after he tried to slam President Joe Biden's mental incompetence over a quote about "airports" during the Revolutionary War, only to be shown video proving it was Trump who actually said it.

During an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience released on Spotify, Rogan discussed Biden's supposed remarks with MMA fighter Bo Nickal, criticizing the president's mental acuity based on a misattributed statement.

Rogan claimed that Biden had recently commented on the Revolutionary War, suggesting the reason for America's loss was a lack of airports at the time:

"The same 'stable genius' said the biggest problem we had during the Revolutionary War is we didn’t have enough airports. Whoa."

Rogan said:

“If you were you at any other job, and you were talking like that, they’d go, ‘Hey, you’re done.'"

You can watch what happened in the video below.

However, it was actually Trump who had made that statement in 2019, misattributing the absence of airports during George Washington's time:

"In June of 1775, the Continental Congress created a unified Army out of the Revolutionary forces encamped around Boston and New York and named after the great George Washington, commander-in-chief. The Continental Army suffered a bitter winter of Valley Forge, found glory across the waters of the Delaware, and seized victory from Cornwallis of Yorktown."
"Our Army manned the airp… It ran the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do…"

Rogan laughed it off when corrected by an off-camera voice who played video evidence that Rogan had misattributed the quote. He said that Trump had merely "f**ked up." Nikal also defended Trump for misspeaking, saying “that’s the thing about media these days, you gotta look into it.”

People were quick to call out Rogan's hypocrisy.

Trump himself was roasted by critics recently after he challenged Biden to a mental "acuity test" in a post on Truth Social, his personal social media platform.

Trump proposed the idea of a mental acuity test, claiming that no one would come close to his performance. This challenge was prompted by a Wall Street Journal poll in which 49 percent of respondents at the time believed Trump was not mentally fit for the presidency, compared to 60 percent for Biden.

Last week, he claimed he is much healthier than Biden, declaring his recent medical exam results were exceptional, even asserting that he excelled in a cognitive test. Referencing Texas Republican Representative Ronny Jackson, the former White House physician known for his unwavering admiration of Trump, the former President recalled that Jackson deemed him healthier than Obama.

Trump has in the past referred to himself as a "perfect physical specimen," offering yet another example of his braggadocio when it comes to his health and physical prowess.

The district had strongly backed Trump in 2024 by a 17-point margin. The contest advanced to a runoff after no contender earned more than 50 percent of the vote in November.
