Trump 'Constantly' Talked About Making White House Staff Take Lie Detector Tests, Former Official Says

A former White House official recently revealed to Politico that among President Trump's innumerable fixations and obsessions was a repeated desire to give his own staff lie detector tests to see who was loyal.

People everywhere are chortling at the irony of President Trump questioning someone ELSE's honesty.

In the light of near-constant leaks to the press, the unnamed official painted the picture of an unhinged President:

"It was something that was discussed and people were trying to placate the president and trying to show that they were taking it as personally and just as seriously as he was."
"Taking that line of, 'Oh yeah, we have to polygraph people' was a way to ingratiate themselves with him, but it wasn't an idea that ever went anywhere because it was absurd."

Twitter got a huge kick out of President Trump interacting with a lie detector.

If Trump ever tried taking a lie detector test, the machine would likely do backflips.

This entire situation is the exact definition of irony.

Maybe everyone in the White House SHOULD take a lie detector.

With more lies coming out of the White House every day, President Trump is right. It's time to hold the liars accountable—even the one at the very top.

Having a President who lies continuously about easily disproved things is a new phenomenon. The book Disordered Minds: How Dangerous Personalities Are Destroying Democracy is available here.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
