People Reveal The Deepest 'Shower Thought' They've Ever Had

Reddit user Royal_Figure3100 asked: 'What is the deepest shower thought you have ever had?'

Full disclosure: my "deep shower thoughts" happen while I'm washing dishes, not in the shower.

Showers are a bit of a sensory overload for me—autism, amiright?—consisting of trying not to have a panic attack, run into the wall and fall out of the shower—again.

I don't like water splashing onto my face from rain, kids playing in a pool, water gun or water balloon fights, or in the shower.

It freaks my neurodivergent brain out.

But for many people, a long, hot shower is where they get in touch with their philosophical or creative self.

Reddit user Royal_Figure3100 asked:

"What is the deepest shower thought you have ever had?"

Self-Awareness

"It is unfair for everyone around me when I get angry."

~ AlternativeMessage18

"I struggle a lot with this too. But it’s getting better."

"Depending on the context I usually try to step back for a minute, feel what makes me angry and if it really needs to be expressed in an unfair/explosive way."

"It’s okay to talk later about the issue if you can't regulate your outsized emotions in the moment."

"But it’s also okay sometimes to get angry and stand up for yourself. The hard part is finding the middle, I guess."

~ LavishnessOk9713

"I know, my anger issues came at a cost. Can’t f*cking forgive myself still."

"My birthday is 9 months after my parents' wedding aniversary. My brother's birthday is exactly one month before mine. He was a month premature..."

"F*ck why did I have to read your comment???"

MAGA Influencer Dragged After Claiming That Only 'Single Gay Males' Live In Cities

Will Chamberlain, a MAGA minion who works for a Republican-aligned legal group, claimed suburban living is where all the good families live, rather than cities.

While that notion has been around since redlining and "White flight," Chamberlain's "those people" aren't BIPOC. No, Chamberlain's claim revolved around something else that seems to often makes conservatives squirm—or, at least, closeted conservatives. He claimed cities are full of...gay men.
