We know you all missed the Peloton lady.
So it is our distinct pleasure to tell you she is back and in her best form yet.
You may remember the infamous commercial:
This commercial was absolutely dragged by the internet for being sexist, classist, disturbing, and cringeworthy:

Yeah, we don't get it either.
But Ryan Reynolds knows how to take cringe and capitalize on it.
And that's exactly what he did for Aviation Gin.
The continuity and clapbacks are absolutely astounding.
The references to her being somehow pressured to work out by her husband in the Peloton ad, such as the girls saying "you're safe here" and her long stares into space combined with drinking an entire glass of gin without even breathing—people are simply living for it.

The comedic timing is also phenomenal.
The actress in the ad, Monica Ruiz, says that the Aviation Gin ad helped her cope with the "overwhelming" backlash that Peloton received.

Ruiz said:
"I was happy to accept a job opportunity earlier this year from Peloton and the team was lovely to work with."
She continued:
"Although I'm an actress, I am not quite comfortable being in spotlight and I'm terrible on social media. So to say I was shocked and overwhelmed by the attention this week (especially the negative) is an understatement. When Ryan and his production team called about Aviation Gin, they helped me find some humor in the situation."
Ryan Reynolds will surely have plenty more fun ideas like this in 2020.
Until then, to the husbands who are thinking of getting their wives a Peloton bike: maybe spring for some Aviation Gin instead and evaluate your life choices.
