The Original Iron Man Suit Has Mysteriously Vanished From A Warehouse In LA

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the alleged theft of the original Iron Man suit, valued at more than $300,000.

The suit went missing from a prop warehouse in Pacoima, California sometime between February and April 25th. LAPD officer Christopher No said the suit was valued at $325,000, based on police reports filed on Tuesday.

The iconic red and gold suit is reported to be the one used by Robert Downey Jr. in the 2008 movie Iron Man.

Twitter had some thoughts of their own on the missing suit.

"So the actual 'Iron Man' costume from the movie was stolen from a storage facility in Pacoima.. lol"

"Finally a story that can be served by my immense nerdery - the LAPD is investigating the theft of the Iron Man suit from the Avengers movies. No, I am not making this up. Yes, this is kind of the plot of Spiderman: Homecoming."

My thoughts exactly... where is the team?

"Is it #ironic that they call the LAPD and not the Avengers because the original Iron Man suit is missing..."

What if the culprit is dressed as a supervillain? WHAT THEN?

"Please, please news gods, let someone dressed up as a super villain be the suspect -- LAPD investigating disappearance of Iron Man suit used in Marvel's 'Avengers' films."

But in the end, it's a pretty impressive feat. Finders keepers? Nah, probably not.

"If someone can successfully steal a full on #IronMan suit and get away with it, then they deserve to keep it."

Pope Leo's Brother Sparks Outrage Over Vile Posts About Nancy Pelosi And Parents Of Trans Kids

The brother of Robert Prevost, a Chicago-born Roman Catholic Augustine cleric who last week became the newly-elected Pope Leo XIV, is facing heated criticism after some of his older Facebook posts resurfaced and revealed that he'd shared a video calling Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi a "drunk c**nt" as well as a transphobic meme about transgender children.

For instance, in an April 23 post, Prevost claimed that former President Obama desired “the total destruction of our way of life” and aimed to turn the U.S. into a dictatorship, adding that it would be “a racist one on top of it.” He had previously pushed a conspiracy theory alleging that “OBAMA WAS A CIA ASSET, PUT IN PLACE TO DESTROY THE USA.”
