Michael Jordan Offers Blunt One-Word Reaction To His Son Dating Scottie Pippen's Ex-Wife

Jordan and Pippen were famously Chicago Bulls royalty back in the '90s—so Marcus Jordan's relationship with Larsa Pippen intertwines some awkward history.

Most of us have dated someone our parents didn't approve of at one time or another. But dating someone our parents don't approve of who's also the ex-wife of our dad's former best friend? That's a whole other story.

But that's precisely the sort of very weird ... love rectangle? Or something? That basketball legends Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen and Jordan's son Marcus Jordan are currently caught in.

And Michael Jordan doesn't seem particularly happy about it.

Asked to comment on the relationship between his son and Larsa Pippen, Scottie Pippen's ex-wife, Michael Jordan had a simple, one-word answer that kind of said it all, as seen below.

Asked by a paparazzo if he approves of the relationship, Jordan simply gave an emphatic, "No." Well, that settles that, then!

That's a different story than Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen have told, however. After going public with their relationship in January, Larsa Pippen appeared on Tamron Hall Show and told Hall that Michael Jordan and his wife were "fine" with her and Marcus' relationship. She said:

“When you’re an adult, I think your parents just want to see you happy. My parents want to see me happy, his parents want to see him happy."

Seems Michael Jordan may have changed his mind, and he's certainly not the only one for whom Larsa and Marcus' romance has sparked some intrigue.

Larsa Pippen was married to Scottie Pippen from 1997 until 2021, with the two linking up just after Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan's legendary run as the Chicago Bulls' power duo throughout the 1990s.

Her linking up with Jordan's son just two years after her marriage to Pippen is eyebrow-raising enough--as is, for some, the 16-year age gap between the two.

But further complicating the story is Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan's famously strained relationship following Pippen's beefs with Jordan's 2020 docuseries The Last Dance.

Fans of Jordan's weren't exactly surprised to see that he's not really feeling the love where Larsa and Marcus are concerned.

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan probably aren't fazed by Michael Jordan's disapproval however. Last month they spoke on their podcast about plans to have children in the future.

Pope Leo's Brother Sparks Outrage Over Vile Posts About Nancy Pelosi And Parents Of Trans Kids

The brother of Robert Prevost, a Chicago-born Roman Catholic Augustine cleric who last week became the newly-elected Pope Leo XIV, is facing heated criticism after some of his older Facebook posts resurfaced and revealed that he'd shared a video calling Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi a "drunk c**nt" as well as a transphobic meme about transgender children.

For instance, in an April 23 post, Prevost claimed that former President Obama desired “the total destruction of our way of life” and aimed to turn the U.S. into a dictatorship, adding that it would be “a racist one on top of it.” He had previously pushed a conspiracy theory alleging that “OBAMA WAS A CIA ASSET, PUT IN PLACE TO DESTROY THE USA.”

Stockholm Floored After Trump Administration Sends Letter Demanding They End DEI Programs

Swedish authorities in the capital of Stockholm criticized the Trump administration for sending a "bizarre" letter ordering that the city end its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs.

The letter marked the latest step in President Donald Trump’s broader push to dismantle federal programs focused on diversity and inclusion—part of what he pledged in his inaugural address would be a campaign to stop attempts to “socially engineer race and gender into every aspect of public and private life.”
