Robbie admitted that a kiss with the Oscar winner 'wasn't in the script.'

Seizing the day is a popular mantra that many people choose to live by.

Actress Margot Robbie is one such individual who abided by this principal and refused to let an opportunity slip through her fingers.

The Academy Award nominee for Best Actress for her portrayal of Tonya Harding in the 2017 biopic I, Tonya snuck in a kiss with Brad Pitt while filming the upcoming film Babylon together.

Babylon was directed by Damien Chazelle, who also wrote and directed the films La La Land and Whiplash.

The film takes place during Hollywood's transition from silent films to sound in the 1920s and is about the rise and fall of multiple characters played by an ensemble cast that includes A-listers like Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Jean Smart and Tobey Maguire.

Robbie plays the character of aspiring actress Nellie, who recruits Manny Torres—played by Diego Calva—and veteran actor Jack Conrad—played by Pitt—to help her find stardom in Hollywood.

Talking to E! News, Robbie shared some interesting behind-the-scenes tidbits about her time on set, one of which included the stolen smooch with Pitt that she masterminded.

Admitted Robbie:

"That wasn't in the script, but I thought, 'When else am I gonna get the chance to kiss Brad Pitt? I'm just gonna go for it.'"

Robbie said the improvised kiss scene "was just great," but added that she had to clear it with Chazelle for it to happen.

"I said, 'Damien, I think Nellie would just go up and kiss Jack. And Damien was like, 'Well, she could—wait, hold on. You just wanna kiss Brad Pitt.'"
"And I was like, 'Oh, so sue me. This opportunity might never come up again.' And he was like, 'It does work for the character,' and I was like, 'I think so.'"

After sealing the deal, Chazelle actually asked the two actors in the scene for another take.

"He was like, 'No, do it again. That really works,'" Margot recalled.

"I was like, 'Oh, great.'"

Ask and ye shall receive.

If we should all be so lucky.

Robbie disclosed that Pitt's lips weren't the only ones she kissed during production.

She revealed:

"I actually kissed Katherine [Waterston] as well, but I don't know if that made the cut."

Moviegoers will have to find out when Babylon is released in select U.S. theaters on December 23.
