Trump Just Shared A Clip From 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Without Realizing That It Was Most Definitely Mocking Him

President Trump has never been quick to catch on to a joke, unless it's one he made up.

On Twitter, the President recently retweeted an explicit clip from Larry David's HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm, seeming to be under the impression it was supportive of him in some way.

In fact, the entire point of the scene was to mock the President and his supporters.

*WARNING: clip contains NSFW language

In the clip, Larry David puts on a MAGA hat to get a rude biker to be nicer to him.

Trump's caption, "TOUGH GUYS FOR TRUMP!" signals he's either pleased the "tough" biker was a Trump supporter abd supports public harassment and menacing, or that putting on the hat made Larry David intimidating.

If Trump had watched the episode, however, he would know that David was wearing the MAGA hat because it's incredibly useful as "people repellant."

In case David's feelings about the hat weren't perfectly clear, he also spelled them out in this interview (which also features explicit language).

In the episode, Larry uses the MAGA hat to avoid a meeting, get people to walk away from him at a restaurant and generally disgust everyone around him.

Does Trump understand the joke?

Does he understand any jokes?

Many felt Trump's retweet proved David's point.

And in case anyone was wondering what the clip looked like in context...

Maybe if Trump had made the time to watch the whole episode, he would have thought twice before retweeting the clip. Oh well, it's too late now.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
