Far-right Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio has proven to be one of former President Donald Trump's most submissive sycophants, voting in line with Trump's agenda 100 percent of the time in the 117th Congress so far and embracing right-wing conspiracy theories by calling for legislation to ban vaccine mandates.

Now, Jordan is seizing on the looming supply chain issues that Moody's Analytics predicts will get worse before they get better.

There are global factors at play, with Moody's writing:

"Border controls and mobility restrictions, unavailability of a global vaccine pass, and pent-up demand from being stuck at home have combined for a perfect storm where global production will be hampered because deliveries are not made in time, costs and prices will rise and GDP growth worldwide will not be as robust as a result."

These factors seem at odds with conservative portrayals of Biden, including that he's horrifically lax on border control and tyrannical in his vaccine administration.

Nevertheless, Biden this week announced initiatives to ease the looming crisis, including keeping the Los Angeles port open for 24 hours a day, seven days a week, along with major retailers agreeing to ship more goods at night. Despite this, it's going to be a challenge to get goods on shelves before Black Friday.

Predictably, conservative media and elected officials lambasted Biden, comparing him to the Grinch that stole Christmas.

For his part, Jordan praised Trump for supposedly ensuring Christmas presents were delivered on time.

Not only was the claim bizarre, it was inaccurate, as people soon pointed out.

Others suggested Jordan had severely misplaced his priorities.

Awkward.

MAGA Rep. Ripped For Changing Story About Why He Sleeps In His DC Office To Fit Trump Agenda

Tennessee Republican Representative Tim Burchett was criticized for claiming that he "lives" in his office because of crime in Washington, D.C., even though he gave a completely different reason earlier this year to explain how he maintains productivity.

Burchett's remarks came as President Donald Trump federalized the Metropolitan Police and deployed about 800 National Guard troops to the nation’s capital this week while claiming crime in D.C. is "out of control" despite falling crime rates.

Sorbo gripes about Vikings cheerleaders

American actor and sudden cheerleading morality police Kevin Sorbo appeared to spontaneously combust online when the Minnesota Vikings announced the addition of two male cheerleaders to their 2025 squad.

Born in Mound, Minnesota, Sorbo has long cultivated his brand of brawny, bicep-flexing alpha male heroics—playing Hercules in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Captain Dylan Hunt in Andromeda, and starring in the 2008 parody Meet the Spartans, where he famously shared an on-screen kiss with Sean Maguire’s King Leonidas.
