Gwyneth Paltrow and her vagina candles were the talk of the town in 2020.

About a year after the infamous release of her candle entitled "This Smells Like My Vagina," one of her products reportedly exploded and caused an "inferno" in the living room of a London woman.

Jody Thompson of Kilburn posted a photo of the charred remains of her £69 candle after the incident.

Thompson, who thankfully won the candle in a work event, said that "the candle exploded and emitted huge flames, with bits flying everywhere."

"I've never seen anything like it. The whole thing was ablaze and it was too hot to touch. There was an inferno in the room."

Eventually Thompson got the "inferno" under control and threw the candle outside of the house, but it put a good scare in her entire family.

"It could have burned the place down. It was scary at the time, but funny looking back that Gwyneth's vagina candle exploded in my living room."

The candle was meant to smell like "geranium, citrusy bergamot and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed to put us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth".

Thompson's living room likely smells like the charred remains of these things.

It seems like 2021 is already off to an explosive start for Paltrow, paving the way for a new candle:

Former GOP Senator Gets Brutal Wakeup Call After Criticizing People For Playing 'Candy Crush' Instead Of 'Making Babies'

Ben Sasse represented Nebraska in the United States Senate from 2015 to 2023. As a Midwestern moderate, the sometimes controversial Sasse was often critical of MAGA Republican President Donald Trump on social media and on the Senate floor.

At one point, the Nebraska GOP censured him because of his criticism of Trump. But Sasse, like Maine Republican Senator Susan Collins, would still vote with the majority of his party when his vote was needed to back Trump's agenda.
