In an interesting way to remember the legacy of comic book legend Stan Lee, fans aren't posting his most memorable comic figures, they are posting his "blink and you might miss him" movie cameos.

Lee, the comic book icon passed away at the age of 95. Marvel left this quote up on the website of Lee discussing his long, historic career.

"I used to be embarrassed because I was just a comic book writer while other people were building bridges or going on to medical careers. And then I began to realize: entertainment is one of the most important things in people's lives. Without it, they might go off the deep end. I feel that if you're able to entertain, you're doing a good thing."

He is responsible for creating or co-creating such classic super heroes as Iron Man, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Daredevil, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk, the Mighty Thor, and Ant-Man, but fans of the publisher of Marvel Comics spend the morning remembering him as "Stan Lee - King of the Cameo."

One super fan who describes himself as a "nerdy white boy with drumsticks" dedicated a whole thread of Lee cameos.

Others shared as well.

You will be missed.
