Donald Trump Claims 'There's No Impeachment' in Rambling Speech and the Mockery Was Swift

Donald Trump Claims 'There's No Impeachment' in Rambling Speech and the Mockery Was Swift
NBC News

Last week, the House of Representatives voted to impeach President Donald Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, making him the third president in history to be impeached.

Someone should probably remind Donald Trump.

At a recent rally for the young Conservative group Turning Point USA, the President claimed there was "no impeachment."

Watch below.

The President said:

"There's no crime. There's no nothing. How do you impeach? You had no crime. Even their people said there was no crime. In fact, there's no impeachment. There's no — their own lawyers said there's no impeachment. What are we doing here?"

It's unclear which lawyers Trump was referring to, but what is clear: Trump was definitely impeached.

With Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) saying he'd take instructions from White House lawyers on how to conduct the trial in the Senate, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) indicated that she'd hold off from delivering the articles of impeachment.

According to the White House, the President isn't impeached until the articles are delivered to the Senate, which is likely why Trump is claiming there was no actual impeachment.

The talking point may have played well to the Turning Point USA crowd, but the internet wasn't buying it.

In fact, the denial of reality made people even more concerned about Trump's leadership.

Once again: The President has been impeached. A trial in the Senate, which is expected to result in his acquittal, is expected after the new year.

Model Accuses Fashion Brand Of Using AI To Recreate Her Looks For Ad Instead Of Hiring Her

There used to be laws in place for someone's likeness being used without their consent, and most certainly if their likeness was being used in an exploitative way for profit.

But now with the rise of AI-generated photographs, advertisements, and other digital products, the lines seem to have become muddied between the illegal stealing of someone's likeness and AI "inspiration."
