British television personality Piers Morgan is not exactly well-liked.

Morgan is well known for frequently and shamelessly belittling anyone he deems inferior. Whether it's Meghan Markle, Lady Gaga, Megan Rapinoe, transgender people, or his own coworkers, he's never shy to attack the character of those he sees as beneath him—often inadvertently displaying his own mediocrity in the process.

Given character traits like these—along with a penchant for nasty tweets—it's not surprising that Piers Morgan and President Donald Trump get along.

Morgan threw his support behind Trump on election night.

He also conducted Trump's first international interview and has defended the President throughout his first term.

So it came as a surprise when Morgan joined the growing chorus of voices criticizing the President's delayed response to the virus that's caused a global pandemic and upended daily life in the United States.

Watch below.

Morgan panned the President's erratic and aggressive daily press briefings:

"On almost every level...Donald Trump is failing the American people. He's turning these briefings into a self-aggrandizing, self-justifying, overly defensive, politically partisan, almost like a rally to him -- almost like what's more important is winning the election in November."

He then addressed Trump directly, warning him to get his priorities in order.

"You will win the election in November if you get this right. If you stop making it about yourself and make it about the American people and show that you care about them over yourself, you will win. And, conversely, you will lose the election in November if you continue to make it about yourself, you continue playing silly politics, continue targeting Democrat governors because that suits you for your electoral purposes."

The President's briefings have grown noticeably more aggressive as reporters confront him with facts about his own administration's response to the virus—including citing the President's own frequent dismissals of its threat and unkept promises regarding its solution.

For once, People agreed with Piers's take.

Piers Morgan isn't the only one slamming Trump's press briefings.

GOP Senator Faces MAGA Backlash Over Plan To Sell Millions Of Acres Of Public Land

Utah Republican Senator Mike Lee is facing harsh criticism—including from Team MAGA—over his proposal to sell off millions of acres of public land in the American West owned by the Bureau of Land Management and the U.S. Forest Service to supposedly create more affordable housing.

Lee claimed in his proposal that there is an "extensive process for interested parties like States and local governments to nominate land for disposal to meet housing and community needs," noting that it specifically exempts national parks, monuments, and federally designated wilderness areas from potential land sales.

Trump Ripped For Complaining That Americans Get 'Too Many' Federal Holidays Off Work

While it was ultimately former President Joe Biden who established Juneteenth as a federal holiday, President Donald Trump—who once campaigned on that promise—took to Truth Social on Juneteenth to whine about the number of "non-working holidays" Americans get, claiming that it costs businesses "billions of dollars."

Juneteenth is derived from June 19, 1865, when Union troops led by General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas, and declared that all enslaved African Americans in the state were free.
