Since Democrats took over the House in January of 2019, they have passed around 400 bills addressing everything from common sense gun reform to prescription drugs to domestic violence to election security to insider trading to voting rights.

But you wouldn't know it to listen to Republicans, particularly Donald Trump, who has dubbed the Democratic Party the "Do-nothing Democrats" despite their having accomplished quite a lot in a short period of time.

Including, of course, launching an official impeachment inquiry into the President, holding impeachment hearings, officially impeaching him, and sending the articles to the Senate. They've actually been quite busy.

But that didn't stop President's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., from using the moniker in an ill-advised tweet on Wednesday.

He challenged his followers to name one "Democrat" accomplishment.

The reality is that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), who boasts the nickname "the Grim Reaper" for his willingness to let House bills die in the Senate, won't bring the bills to the Senate floor.

House Democrats, for their part, have worked with Republicans to pass a spending bill that averted a government shutdown and to pass Trump's USMCA trade agreement after a year of bipartisan negotiations.

It's worth noting that when Republicans controlled both the House and the Senate under a Republican president from 2017 to 2018, they accomplished little more than a flawed tax bill, while failing to pass legislation that would have repealed Obamacare and also failing to allocate Trump's desired amount for new border wall funding in its budget.

So it may not come as a surprise that people easily corrected Junior on his lie that Democrats aren't accomplishing anything.

But one answer in particular stood out.

By the end of today, House Democrats will officially transfer the articles of impeachment to the Senate, marking yet another accomplishment.

Your move, Junior.

Roger Stone Slammed After Suggesting Dem Senator Should Be 'Executed' For Criticizing Trump

President Donald Trump's ally is facing heavy criticism after declaring that Arizona Democratic Senator Mark Kelly should be charged with "treason" and "executed" for his dealings with a Chinese company that makes surveillance balloons.

Stone's remarks followed Kelly's comments on Trump's crypto coin scheme outlined in a now-rejected bill that aimed to establish a regulatory framework for stablecoins, a type of digital asset designed to maintain a fixed $1 value, making it better suited for everyday transactions. Democrats said the legislation did not contain adequate standards to safeguard against corruption.
