The Los Angeles Dodgers scored a 5-0 victory at Tuesday night's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
But what had everyone cheering on the internet was the smooth manner in which Dodgers' infielder Trea Turner touched the home plate during the sixth inning.
The nimble speedster's graceful glide instantly became an iconic MLB moment despite an admirable throw by right fielder Bryce Harper to stop him.
More impressive, Turner used the remaining momentum to get up with his bottom leg and recover with a twirl, all in one move.
You're not ready.
The Dodgers' social media team posted a two-second playback of the Turner Ballet with this accurate description:
"Smooth like butter, pull you in like no other."
And just like that, the clip went viral and sparked a frenzy of memes, many of which were set to familiar tunes.
In a word, Turner was smooth.

He was so smooth, it was criminal, which is why his slide was synced to Michael Jackson's classic pop hit of the same name.

It was also all about Turner's recovery.

"I've been doing that a long time," Turner told MLB of his signature move.
"That's just how I slide, I guess. I try to not hit the ground very hard because it usually doesn't feel great, so I try to be as soft as I can and slide, whether it's head-first or feet-first."
"I try to avoid tags, but that's just how I've slid basically my whole life."
