TikToker Floored After Husband's American Airlines 'Flight' Turns Out To Be A Literal Bus

TikToker @devandonahue spoke out in a series of viral videos about how her husband booked what he thought was a short flight on American Airlines, complete with flight number and boarding pass, only for it to turn out to be a bus ride.

A woman on TikTok went viral after sharing her husband's unique flight experience.

What made it unique, you ask?

Oh, the flight was actually a bus ride.

TikToker @devandonahue took to the platform to share both her surprise and her amusement after she received a series of texts and videos from her husband informing her that his American Airlines "flight" was not a flight at all.

In the video, captioned, "A much needed laugh," the creator started by asking viewers for an explanation for the following scenario:

“My husband is traveling for work, and he just showed up to his connecting flight in Philadelphia — and it’s a bus ride."

She then shared a screenshot of his boarding pass, complete with a flight number.

The next photo, however, showed what her husband actually boarded at the gate: a bus.

Her first thought was that the bus would be shuttling passengers to the plane, but that was not the case at all.

The TikToker's husband informed her, however, that they did have a "flight attendant" as well as take-off announcements.

Sadly for the passengers, the leg room on the bus was no better than on a flight.

@devandonahue finished her video:

"How does this even happen?"

Given the TikTok only showed the "takeoff" portion of the journey, many of the over 600k viewers needed an update.

And the TikToker obliged.

In a follow-up, she shared a screenshot:

“So this is just a screenshot of a video he sent me."
"But if you see here, like, behind the mirror, there’s a tail to a plane.”

Initially, the TikToker believed that was an indicator the bus ride was just a shuttle.

But, alas, it was not.

@devandonahue continued:

"I think the funniest part was just his reaction and his confusion and anger."

She then showed one of his more frustrated , i.e. NSFW, correspondences as he realized what he originally believed to be a flight from Philadelphia to Allentown was, in deed, a bus ride.

Replying to @Alex the way they just never said a word about it being a bus ride was the punch line #americanairlines #fail #greenscreen

Viewers of both videos were all kinds of entertained.

It's too bad that TikToker's husband had such a frustrating experience, but we sure did appreciate the entertainment!
