A Baton Rouge, Louisiana resident reportedly skipped a mandatory temperature check at Disney World and ended up in jail during a recent trip to the theme park.
Kelly Sills, who says he paid $15 thousand for the 5-day vacation planned for him and his family, ended the first day of the trip in handcuffs.
What was supposed to be a luxurious vacation for Sills and his family came to an abrupt end on the first night when Sills lashed out at security personnel who approached him over the refused temperature check.
"I paid $15,000. You can't trespass me if I paid $15,000."
But trespassed he was, after being confronted at the Boathouse restaurant after refusing to have his temperature taken or to leave.
Sills told a very different story from the one told by Disney World representatives and police during an interview with The Washington Post on Saturday. He claimed he had simply entered the building through an exit and hadn't intentionally skipped the safety check.
He told The Post he would have "happily" submitted to the temperature check, and laid the blame for the incident escalating at the feet of Disney security personnel.
Sills told ThePost:
"Covid is a very serious thing, but so is my vacation with my family."

Twitter users were not at all impressed by Sills' antics.
Paying $15k for a vacation definitely does not exclude you from the rules that govern everyone else on private property, especially when your refusing to follow those rules puts everyone else in danger.
