Max Gutierrez, a bartender in St. Petersburg, Florida, was reunited with a woman whom he saved from a patron that would not stop bothering her and a friend while they were out having a drink.
Gutierrez passed Trinity Allie a note disguised as a receipt after Allie and her friend were being persistently pestered by a fellow customer.
The note below went viral about two weeks ago.

"No bartender has ever stepped in for me and that's why I thought it was so great and everyone should hear about it," Allie said.
"You never know what could have happened...Say he didn't step in and this guy followed me and my friend out when we left."

Women on Twitter thanked Gutierrez for his work keeping patrons safe.
I pray if my daughter is in your establishment, you would do the same for her. You sir are a diamond. Thank you Sir, from a mom.— TWEENY LEE (@TWEENY LEE) 1624309303
Max, you are appreciated more than you know. \n\nSigned, everyone who\u2019s been hassled at a bar.— Sarah Hughes (@Sarah Hughes) 1624289898
I agree. However when I talked this over with the manager and described the guest in question, he informed me that this is not the first time we've had to ask him to leave for his behavior. If he would have apologized, or asked me to apologize to the girls, it would be different— Max Gutierrez (@Max Gutierrez) 1624410420
That was very kind and smart thing to do. U prolly have saved many girls life\u2019s with what smart thinking u do. The way this world is now and only getting worse. I think girls need to be walked out after being at a bar. U just never know a strangers intentions.— TAMMY HENSLEY (@TAMMY HENSLEY) 1624358929
YOU are AWESOME! I hope more servers can spot these types of issues and do something like you did. If my nieces or cousins ever found themselves in this kind of situation I hope someone remembers how you stepped up to help. \n\nBRAVO!— UCPhoto (@UCPhoto) 1624548595
Gutierrez said that he doesn't think of himself as a "hero."
"I was just doing my job," he said.
Most people will not get involved until it's too late or violent\nThat was a perfect way to insure that your involvement was requested without immediate confrountation\nI'll remember that one\nExcellent job dude!— Anthony G Piels (@Anthony G Piels) 1624655584
Max could have used ur skillz Friday after work when this drunken creep was telling obscene jokes and kept trying to but me a drink, all the while yelling "I just want to have fun!..."— Limer-icks (@Limer-icks) 1624291569
You're my hero! Thank you SO MUCH for doing the right thing and taking care of your customers...and kicking the a**hole customer to the curb.— lanorte1 (@lanorte1) 1624306352
The frequency of people being harassed In public without any assistance is far too high. Anyone who has felt in physical danger from another patron knows it's not often someone steps up to their aid.
On behalf of those people, Mr. Gutierrez, we salute you.
