Ryan Reynolds Deals With Leaked 'Deadpool 3' Set Photos By 'Joining In' With A Few Of His Own

The actor shared his own 'Deadpool 3' set 'leaks' on X, formerly Twitter, in trolling fashion.

After previously pleading with fans and paparazzi to stop taking photos from the set of Deadpool 3, actor Ryan Reynolds has now taken a new approach to stopping photo leaks: If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Kind of.

Because the film is being shot in real locations instead of on a greenscreen in a studio, fans and paparazzi have distributed several photos of Reynolds and costar Hugh Jackman from the set of the film.

So Reynolds has taken a deeply clever approach to combating the leaks by leveraging his legendary status as an internet prankster in order to bury the photos.

Reynolds posted a series of absurdly Photoshopped versions of leaked photos from the set, along with strategically chosen search term phrases intended to mess with people's internet search results.

In the tweet that began it all, Reynolds wrote:

"Deadpool began with a leak. So I’m joining in."
"But PLEASE don’t overuse the phrase, 'Deadpool Leaks' because it might screw up search results if anyone is looking for Deadpool leaks or Deadpool spoilers or perhaps, Deadpool Scoops."
"#DeadpoolLeaks #DeadpoolSpoiler #DeadpoolScoop"

Reynolds followed up with several equally ridiculous Photoshops, along with hashtags like #DeadspoolScoops and #DeadpoolLeaks.

The idea was to spam the search terms so that instead of finding actual spoilers, fans will find Reynolds' hilarious Photoshops, including iconic 90s dork Steve Urkel costarring alongside Jackman.

Fans found Reynolds' trick hilarious and loved his Deadpool 3 Photoshops, with many joining in to provide their own.

Deadpool 3 is one of the most hotly anticipated blockbusters of Summer 2024 and is slated to release July 26. Reynolds' antics will no doubt continue until then.
