Drunk 'Lawyer' Lashes Out With Racist Rant After Flight Attendants Deny Her Another Glass Of Wine

Drunk 'Lawyer' Lashes Out With Racist Rant After Flight Attendants Deny Her Another Glass Of Wine

Another day, another privileged white person showing their true colors.

This time it happened on an Air India flight from Mumbai to London. Simone O'Broin, 50, flying with an Irish passport but sporting an English accent, claimed to be an international lawyer. She then had a total racist meltdown over not being given another glass of wine. From the state of her behavior it is clear the last thing she needed was more alcohol. While O'Broin disrupted the entire flight with her ranting and raving, the crew kept cool.

The ugly mess was captured on video (Of course it was! It always is.) by another passenger, Tarun Shukla, who happens to be a journalist.

During the boozy tantrum, O'Broin said:

"I am a f***ing international lawyer. I work for all you f***ing people, the f***ing Rohingyas, the f***ing people of all Asia, for you, an international criminal lawyer. Don't get any money for it by the way. But you won't give me a glass of wine, is that correct?"

In a bizarre twist, the majority of people seemed to care more about whether she was Irish or English than the fact she just went on a horrifically racist rant.

Remember, she went on a racist rant and was abusive to the airline staff.

Thankfully some folks saw the bigger picture.

English or Irish, we're pretty sure they have AA meetings in both countries. No one should go full on racist over a glass of wine. Even better: just don't be racist at all drunk or sober.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg was roasted online after Meta announced they'll be shutting down Horizon Worlds, part of their virtual reality "Metaverse," this summer after spending close to $80 billion on the project.

The news comes five years after Zuckerberg declared the metaverse to be the future of Facebook, even renaming the company Meta to reflect that vision. In recent months, Meta cut roughly 10% of the workforce in its "metaverse" division and signaled a shift away from virtual reality for its flagship platform, Horizon Worlds, where users interact through avatars.
