A pair of poolside young women have garnered support on TikTok after they posted a video of their unflinching confrontation with an older man who tried to take photos of them while they relaxed by the pool.

The video, posted by TikToker @maiphammy, has been viewed by nearly five and a half million people, many of whom have commented to share their support for the young women's bravery in the uncomfortable moment.

The clip began as one of the women walked over to the man, who was splayed out on a lawn chair reading a magazine.

The video then cut to a closer view taken from over the man's shoulder. As the two women insisted they saw him take photos of them, he denied it outright.

But when they made him take out his camera roll to prove that, it became clear he was lying. His hands shook visibly the entire time he navigated through his phone to delete the images.

At one point, one of the women claimed to have seen a video of her. His denial of that, saying "that's a photo, not a video," was a confession all its own.

@maiphammy

TikTokers who saw the clip provided a variety of responses.

But plenty of TikTokers pointed out that the two are not at all the same thing.

Here's hoping the confrontation has left the man rethinking his approach to poolside phone use.

Beaten DC Cop Coughs NSFW Message At MAGA Rep. For Blaming Jan. 6 On Capitol Leadership

Michael Fanone—who worked for the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department for 20 years until he sustained serious and life-threatening injuries during the January 6 insurrection—didn't take kindly to Texas Republican Representative Troy Nehls trying to blame the attack on the "U.S. Capitol leadership team" instead of President Donald Trump.

Nehls spoke during a hearing where Jack Smith, the former special prosecutor who led two failed prosecutions against Trump for inciting the insurrection, defended the integrity of his investigation.
