In an incredibly tense moment caught on video, a group of strangers came together to rescue a man trapped in a burning car in Minnesota.

The Minnesota State Police told People that the crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. along I-94 in St. Paul when a Honda drifted to the right of the highway, veering off the road and hitting a light pole before bursting into flames.

Footage shows multiple cars pulling over to the side of the road and bystanders running to the car, already engulfed in flames, in an attempt to free the driver.

The driver side door, however, was blocked by a guardrail.

One of the Good Samaritans, Kadir Tolla, told Fox 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul that the driver was screaming for help, yelling, "Pull me out! Pull me out!"

As flames grew higher, more bystanders attempted to break the driver side window with no success until "highway helper" 71-year-old St. Paul resident Samuel Orbovich was able to break the glass.

The driver was then pulled from the burning car and carried to safety.

In a statement made to People, Minnesota State Patrol Lieutenant Jill Frankfurth shared:

“The State Patrol is grateful that the driver is ok due to the heroic actions of the individuals who stopped to help. These types of incidents can happen anywhere and at any time and that’s why we always need motorists to remain vigilant."
"The actions of those who pulled this motorist from the burning car demonstrates the importance and willingness of people throughout Minnesota looking out for each other."

Trump Tries To Brag About His Approval Ratings, Gets Instantly Fact-Checked By Critics

MAGA Republican President Donald Trump has boasted several times in rallies and to the press about being given multiple cognitive tests, seemingly mistaking them for IQ tests.

It appears no one in his inner circle is willing to tell him why even medical staff loyal to him—who routinely exaggerate his vital statistics and overall health—repeatedly questioned his mental acuity. But their reasons seem clear when Trump says or posts deluded nonsense regularly.
