Comedian Michael Ian Black, star of Wet Hot American Summer, just tweeted his two cents about the tragedy in Charlottesville, Virginia. His take was pretty controversial, and has people on both sides of the aisle pretty riled up:
Heather Heyer was killed on Saturday, August 12th, by a car intentionally crashing through a group of counter-protesters in Charlottesville.
Some Twitter users agreed with Black whole-heartedly.
The tweet also had its fair share of detractors, however, who thought it was doing as much harm as good.
But it seems both sides were unwilling to be swayed by the words of the other.
Michael Ian Black, seeing the controversy his tweet was generating, decided to clarify.
Supporters loved Black's sass.
Many felt white supremacists should be condemned. Period.
Whether you agree with Black or not, though, one thing is certain...
