A soundbyte of White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany praising presidential candidate Joe Biden back in 2015 has recently emerged, and it's making quite a stir online.

McEnany said that the Republicans would "run into a problem" in a Biden vs Trump race.

"One of the things [Biden] is remarkable at, is really kind of being a man of the people and resonating with middle-class voters...coming off as human. His gaffes, as much as we make fun of them, to a certain extent they make him look human."

This wasn't the only time she praised Biden during the lead-up to the 2016 election, either. Shortly before the CNN interview, McEnany commented on Biden's character during a segment on Fox Business comparing the chances of Biden or Hillary Clinton getting the nomination.

"When you have Joe Biden here who's funny and likeable and can resonate with the middle class, he really can speak to the average, everyday American, versus Hillary Clinton who's cold and somber."

McEnany has changed her tune significantly since becoming press secretary in the Trump White House. She has more recently repeated Trump's comments about Biden, only last week referring to the candidate as "an empty vessel for the liberal elites and far left."

You can listen to the full clip below:

Twitter users were quick to point out the hypocrisy.

McEnany's past criticisms of President Trump have also resurfaced recently, including her referring to his rhetoric about immigrants as "racist."

CNN has compiled a list of these soundbytes that haven't aged well on YouTube:

While McEnany seems to be firmly on the side of President Trump now, who knows where her loyalties will fall after the election.

Josh Hutcherson Revealed He Doesn't 'Want To Be Online' Anymore After He Was Attacked By Swifties For Not Liking Taylor's Music

Josh Hutcherson learned the hard way that in 2026, casually admitting you’re not a Taylor Swift fan isn’t a neutral opinion. The Hunger Games star faced Swiftie backlash late last year after revealing he wasn’t a fan of Swift’s music.

The moment came during a video interview with i-D Magazine, when Hutcherson and castmate Jordan Firstman played camera roll roulette and landed on a photo of Hutcherson and his mom in the VIP section at Swift’s Eras Tour stop in New Orleans.

White House's 'Presidential Greetings' Post Offering A 'Message From The President' Backfires Hard

The White House was widely mocked online after it promoted a service for Americans to get specialized greetings from President Donald Trump to mark "meaningful moments" that didn't go well at all.

In a post on X, the White House highlighted the presidential greetings program, which gives people the opportunity to request messages from Trump to mark "meaningful moments" such as births, birthdays, graduations, weddings, retirements, and anything else that might fall into the category.
