Lovelorn People Reveal Their Original Disney Prince Crushes, And We're Here For It

I wonder why each little bird has a someone to sing to...

Disney movies were often our first exposure to the concept of true love as children.  Love can break the spell, save the kingdom, and change your life forever.  Friendship is another big thing for Disney movies-friendship can change the world.  So lovelorn and lonely Disney fans came to Walt Disney Confessions to confess how Disney films impacted their lives and continue to do so.

Oliver Is Company

As a kid, I grew very attached to Oliver from Oliver and Company. Ive always wanted a cat just like him, hes just so sweet. Any time I see a cat around the neighborhood, I try to befriend them and show them some love, because I never want any of them to feel as frightened or unwanted as Oliver did before meeting Jenny. Journey To Atlantis

When Atlantis came out, Milo immediately became my hero and I tried to teach myself Atlantean off of the DVD extras and out of my moms Disney Magazine. [x]

No One Dies Like Gaston

I dont think Gaston deserved to die. - And honestly, I think it was mostly Belles fault that he did. I read a fan fiction once that took place after he died, and when Belle returned to the village, the Bimbettes ganged up on her: You had to go marry a prince! Gaston wasnt good enough for you, huh? - In all my conversations that Ive had with my mom about my farcical love life, shes established this one rule: never make a man feel like less than a man. And thats what Belle did when she publicly embarrassed him. Nor do I think he deserved that either. I think that if Belle were really reasonable, she would have tried to be more amenable about it and have drawn a compromise between them,…that instead of marriage, they could be friends first, and then court, and he could learn to respect her boundaries. I also think that his advances were originally harmless, and he was being as charming as he could. Simply because hes the villain, people automatically dislike him. Yes, he was a bit of a jerk. Only after belle humiliated him did he become terrible. But I like to think that perhaps there was deeper motive behind his pursuit of her that his tactless and forward manners overpowered. I think that Belle was indeed judgmental and should have given him a chance. [x]

Idaho Bar Ripped After Organizing 'Hetero Awesome Fest' During Pride Month

An Idaho bar is drawing criticism after announcing it will be hosting a "Hetero Awesome Festival" (is that really the BEST name you could come up with? Maybe workshop it a bit more...) in response to LGBTQ+ Pride Month.

The grown adults who run Old State Saloon in the Boise suburb of Eagle are convinced that "traditional family values" are under assault because of Pride, so they will be holding their event on June 20 and 21 outside Idaho's state Capitol, to coincide with Pride celebrations.

Autistic 4th Grader Goes Viral For Powerful Rebuke To RFK Jr.: 'I'm Not Broken'

A New Jersey fourth grader named Teddy has gone viral after rejecting Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s claim that people with autism are "broken," declaring he is anything but in a statement delivered in the public comment period at the Princeton Public Schools’ Board of Education meeting on April 29.

Autism advocacy groups have criticized Kennedy for exploiting their community and reinforcing damaging stereotypes through his longstanding anti-vaccine rhetoric. Their concerns come amid growing alarm that the Trump administration may cut services essential to helping individuals with autism achieve greater independence and quality of life.
