Top House Republican Accidentally Slams the Trump Kids' Nepotism in Failed Attempt to Criticize Hunter Biden
Fox News

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA)—a staunch ally of President Donald Trump—appeared on Fox News this past weekend to repeat Republican claims that former Vice President Joe Biden improperly used his office to benefit his son Hunter, who served on the board of a Ukrainian energy company from 2014 to 2019.

In accusing the Bidens of nepotism, however, McCarthy apparently forgot some crucial points.

Watch below.

McCarthy said:

"This should not be about politics. Any elected official that uses their office or has their children who uses their office to get economic gain...and you have no experience whatsoever, and the only reason you have that job is because of your father..."

The hypocrisy was astonishing.

The President's eldest daughter and son-in-law—Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner—currently serve as White House advisors.

It's hard to imagine a presidential administration other than Trump's that would have ever deemed them qualified to hold such positions. Since the appointment, Ivanka has since received multiple trademarks on her shoe and clothing lines from the Chinese government as it negotiates a trade deal with the United States.

The President's resorts and other properties—run by his sons Don Jr. and Eric—continue to profit from the Presidency, with over $20 million in political spending funneled into the properties.

People were speechless at McCarthy's words.

Improper use of power by Joe Biden to benefit his son's business is widely regarded as little more than a conspiracy theory. With Biden possibly winning the Democratic nomination to take on Trump in November, Republicans are unlikely to drop the matter any time soon.

First Lady Melania Trump was criticized after she used an event at the White House with freed Israeli hostages to promote her new documentary Melania, which follows her in the 20 days leading up to President Donald Trump’s second inauguration following the 2024 presidential election.

Amazon MGM paid $40 million for the distribution rights and reportedly poured another $35 million into marketing. The film beat box office predictions to earn more than $7 million over the weekend but will need to generate much more box office to break even.

Philly Woman Goes Viral With Her Totally Chill Reaction To Her Car Being Completely Frozen In Ice

While the Northeast battled winter weather, the internet was captivated by a Philly-based TikToker documenting how her car turned into what she jokingly described as a Snowmaggedon popsicle.

Last week, Tianna Graham shoveled out her 2016 Honda Civic and drove out after a snowstorm, took it to work, and parked it in the same spot she’d left it before: next to a water main. By the time she returned, her vehicle was completely encased in ice on the 1000 block of North Front Street in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood.

Dad Sparks Heated Debate After 'Nice Note' He Left For Wife And Kids Before Work Trip Sets Her Off

When a person becomes a parent, much more will change in their life than they anticipated.

But that transition can be especially hard when a person feels like they're losing themselves to their role as a mom or dad—and that feeling is made even worse when their partner hyper-fixates on their new role.
