Ex-NFL Star Leaves 'Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune' Fans Groaning With Epic Puzzle Solve Fumble

Rashad Jennings was just one letter away from solving a puzzle involving director Quentin Tarantino—and he fumbled it badly.

Former New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings epically fumbled trying to solve a Wheel of Fortune puzzle involving a famous Hollywood director.

On Wednesday's Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, with one letter left to solve the puzzle, Jennings couldn't figure out that the phrase "Driving to Reno with _uentin Tarantino" should be completed with the letter Q.

The puzzle was, of course, referring to Academy Award-winning director and screenwriter Quentin Tarantino–who is known for films like Pulp Fiction (1994), Django Unchained (2012), and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019).

Although the accomplished filmmaker is familiar to most general contemporary-moviegoing audiences, it's not entirely shocking that there are people, let alone a pro athlete, who would not be familiar with Quentin Tarantino.

With a $4,050 winnings tally, Jennings chose to go for another spin and guessed the letter P would solve the puzzle.

The audience audibly groaned in disappointment after rooting for Jennings, who thought "Puentin" Tarantino was a real person.

Here is the clip.

Social media users face-palmed.

At least he's still a champ.

After announcing his retirement from the NFL on December 8, 2017, Jennings went on to dominate in another competitive field with Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars.

He was paired with professional dancer Emma Slater, and together they won the competition on May 23, 2017.

Dept. Of Energy Roasted After Posting Bonkers Light Switch Meme To Praise Trump

The U.S. Department of Energy was mocked online after it shared a photo of President Donald Trump signing executive orders next to an image of a hand turning a light switch on—a bizarre meme that had people scratching their heads wondering what in the world the department was aiming for.

The official X account posted the meme without a caption or a comment of any kind—just one of many posts in recent days lauding the Trump administration and particularly Secretary Chris Wright for ensuring that "energy equals freedom" and that the U.S. has entered a "golden age of liquid gold."
