The actor appeared on CBS Mornings to talk about his Broadway debut in the play Good Night, and Good Luck—and told host Gayle King that he and wife Amal have kept their argument-free streak going for a whole decade.

George and Amal Clooney continue to defy the odds with a marriage that remains, by George’s account, argument-free.

During an appearance on CBS Mornings to promote his Broadway debut in Good Night, and Good Luck, the 63-year-old actor and director reflected on life with Amal, 46, whom he married in 2014.

Speaking with host Gayle King, Clooney said, “We’re having a really great time in life,” and credited much of his happiness to his family.

“Our kids are 7, about to be 8, which is a pretty great age,” he said of the couple’s twins, Alexander and Ella. “They’re really curious and funny. Every parent thinks their kids are great—our kids are funny and make us laugh.”

Revisiting a previous conversation with King, Clooney reaffirmed an earlier claim that he and Amal have never had an argument.

“I remember we were here with you once before, and I remember we said we’d never had an argument. We still haven’t. We’re trying to find something to fight about!”

Clooney also discussed how he felt about where he has landed in life.

“I feel so extraordinarily lucky to have met this incredible woman. I feel as if I hit the jackpot. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think I’m the luckiest man in the world. So it’s great.”

Clooney has recently taken a step back from directing and towards acting roles that will leave him with more time for his family.

People questioned the nature of their relationship if they truly never argue.

Some argued that it's possible to find a perfect match.

Money probably smooths over a lot of potential conflicts.

And maybe their busy careers help?

Some were more charitable in their assumptions.

George Clooney can currently be seen in Good Night, and Good Luck on Broadway.

Anyone who graduated from high school or college during or before the pandemic can attest to the lengthy writing assignments they often had to complete.

From five-paragraph essays during class using a black or blue pen, to writing paragraph "discussion" posts and choosing three peers to respond to, to writing twenty-page theses that took weeks to prepare, we had plenty of stress, cramped hands, and tired eyes.

Trump Ripped After Saying He 'Would Love To' Run For President Again In 2028

President Donald Trump was called out after he told reporters aboard Air Force One en route to Japan that he would "love to" run in the next election and shut down rumors he'd be on the Republican ticket as Vice President.

The 22nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution clearly states that “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.”
