John Fetterman Expertly Uses George Santos To Troll Bob Menendez Amid Corruption Probe

Senator John Fetterman hired expelled former Rep. George Santos via the Cameo app to send a video message to indicted NJ Dem. Senator Bob Menendez, who is accused of an elaborate bribery scheme but refuses to step down.

As an early holiday gift, Pennsylvania Democratic Senator John Fetterman decided to throw a little work to recently expelled New York Republican Representative George Santos on Cameo.

For people unfamiliar with Cameo, it's a video-sharing website that allows people to hire the famous—and the infamous—to deliver a personalized message to family, friends or even foes.

The target of Senator Fetterman's Cameo missive was a fellow Democrat—embattled New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez.

Senator Fetterman posted the resulting video on X with the caption:

"I thought my ethically-challenged colleague [New Jersey Democratic Senator Bob Menendez] could use some encouragement given his substantial legal problems."
"So, I approached a seasoned expert on the matter to give ‘Bobby from Jersey’ some advice."

Menendez is facing allegations of corruption.

Both the New Jersey Senator and his wife were indicted in September on federal charges for their alleged participation in a bribery and extortion scheme.

Despite repeated calls by his congressional colleagues and the Democratic Party to step down, Menendez refuses to resign from Congress.

In the Cameo below, Santos says:

"Hey Bobby. I don't think I need to tell you, but these people who want to make you get in trouble and want to kick you out and make you run away, you make them put up or shut up."
"You stand your ground, sir, and don't get bogged down by all the haters out there."
"Stay strong. Merry Christmas."

But was this pep talk from Fetterman to Menendez sincere or trolling?

Despite the encouragement offered in the Cameo message, its true purpose was to point out the parallels between the federally indicted congressional duo. Santos also faced pressure to resign, but absolutely refused which led to his expulsion from the House of Representatives.

Senator Fetterman stated on The View that the same approach should be applied to Menendez in the Senate.

People got a kick out of Fetterman using Santos for his latest poke at Menendez.

They also appreciated a Democrat leading the charge to hold a member of his own party accountable.

Santos joins a rogues' gallery of disgraced former politicians and political advisors on Cameo.

Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Trump advisor Roger Stone all use the platform to earn some extra cash.

On his profile, Santos described himself as a "former congressional ‘icon’" and "The Expelled member of Congress from New York City."

Trump Dragged After Making Ridiculous Claim About Randomly Finding Billions On The 'Tariff Shelf'

President Donald Trump was criticized after he claimed to reporters this week that officials in his administration suddenly found $30 billion they "never knew existed"—located on what Trump referred to as the "tariff shelf."

Tariffs are a tax on imported goods, usually calculated as a percentage of the purchase price. While tariffs can shield domestic manufacturers by making foreign products more expensive, they are also used as a tool to penalize countries engaged in unfair trade practices, such as government subsidies or dumping goods below market value.

Bride's Friends Surprise Her With Montage Video Of All Her Exes At Bachelorette Party—And People Are Mortified

While Jenny Han's novel To All the Boys I've Loved Before was a major hit, and even became a great film success in 2018, not everyone's married to the idea of reconnecting with their exes after the relationships end.

It might be nice to imagine staying friends after the relationships, imagining our exes missing us or regretting losing us, or even giving us an apology for the things they did wrong. But most of us pine for this for a little while, realize it's all a fairy tale, and push past it to better things and new love.
