For nearly three weeks, outgoing President Donald Trump has continued to deny the reality that President-elect Joe Biden defeated him in the 2020 election.

Trump has raged against the results, with a near-constant stream of lies on his Twitter account claiming widespread voter fraud tipped the election to Biden.

His legal team's bumbling efforts to get legal votes tossed out have failed at least 35 times, including a case regarding the key swing state of Pennsylvania, which the Supreme Court refused to consider.

The Trump campaign's efforts to pressure election officials into not certifying results has also failed, most recently in Michigan, where the state Board of Canvassers certified the results on Monday.

With the already slim chances of Trump securing a second term shrinking by the second, the President instructed General Services Administration (GSA) head Emily Murphy to sign off on the paperwork allocating office space and funds to Biden and his team for the upcoming transition—a part of her job Murphy refused to do for weeks.

Despite the bleak prospects, Trump insisted that the decision to let Murphy begin the transition didn't amount to a concession.

Spreading more lies about the repeatedly debunked Dominion Voting Systems conspiracy theory, Trump said he and his team would "never concede."

Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger of Illinois rebuked Trump for the empty "wait and sees," commanding him to stop his bulwark against a peaceful transition of power.

The Republican's unequivocal admonishment of Trump was a welcome change from the complacency of GOP lawmakers in the face of Trump's tactics.

But people have little hope Trump will heed Kinzinger's advice.

President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will be inaugurated on January 20th.
