Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards had diametrically opposed responses after their 18-year-old daughter, Sami Sheen, announced she was starting an OnlyFans page.

Charlie spoke out against his daughter joining the amateur adult entertainment content subscription site.

The Two and a Half Men star wrote in a statement to Yahoo Entertainment via his publicist Jeff Ballard:

"I do not condone this, but since I'm unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative and not sacrifice her integrity."

Sheen then suggested Richards was responsible for the decision.

He said of his daughter, Sami:

"She is 18 years old now and living with her mother. This did not occur under my roof."

Twitter was quick to point out Sheen hasn't exactly had a polished reputation in Hollywood to express disapproval.

Richards–who appeared in the reality show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills–responded to her ex-husband's statement by arguing their daughter was old enough to make decisions on her own.

"Sami is 18, and this decision wasn't based on whose house she lives in," said Richards.

"All I can do as a parent is guide her and trust her judgement, but she makes her own choices."

On Monday, the Hollywood scion teased followers about her new venture with a bikini-clad photo of herself in a pool.

"Click the link in my bio if u wanna see more," she wrote.

Twitter weighed in with their thoughts over Sami's decision.

Richards and her eldest daughter recently reconnected in time for Mother's Day after months of estrangement.

They've both come a long way after Sami complained in a TikTok video about living with Richards in her home last year.

Sami alleged in the video the home was a "hell house" that was "abusive" and made her "insanely depressed."

A source at the time told PEOPLE:

"Denise set normal rules that any parent would be setting. She's a mom and a parent and there are rules. She didn't want to follow the rules."
"Charlie didn't support implementing Denise's rules. He has a different way of parenting and Sami decided to live with her dad."
"Denise loves her daughter very much and she's saddened by the situation."

Speaking with Jeff Lewis on SiriusXM's Jeff Lewis Live, Richards said of Sami, who by then was living with Sheen:

"Honestly, I have a strained relationship with her. It's very difficult. I know we'll get back to where we were eventually but right now, it is strained."

She added:

"But I think it's very difficult raising teenagers now and especially in Los Angeles when there's access to everything."
"We didn't grow up with Postmates and Uber where you have everything that you want. There are certain rules and I enforce them. And [at Sheen's], there's different rules at that house and that's OK."

Richards and Sheen have two daughters together, Sam J. Sheen and Lola Rose Sheen.

In 2005, Richards filed for divorce from Sheen while she was pregnant with Lola Rose.

Richards sought a restraining order against him. When their divorce was finalized in 2006, he was ordered to stay 300 feet away from her and their two daughters, except during supervised visits.

They eventually came to good terms with each other in 2012, spent time together with their daughters and even made appearances on each other's respective TV shows.

Trump's Truth Social Platform Has A New AI Tool—And Trump's Not Gonna Like What It Has To Say

President Donald Trump regularly uses his social media platform Truth Social to attack his opponents and lie profusely, but the site's new "Truth Search AI" tool is unlikely to win his favor because it actually—get this—tells the truth about him and his policies.

A test conducted by the center-right news and commentary site The Bulwark found that the tool, which Truth Social debuted shortly after Trump signed an executive order to counter the use of “Woke AI” in the federal government, actually tells the truth about everything from his widely unpopular tariffs to the 2020 election results.

Trump Just Bragged That Everything In The Oval Office Is 'Real Gold'—And Even Laura Ingraham Isn't Buying It

President Donald Trump received a dubious reaction from Fox News personality Laura Ingraham after he touted the Oval Office's gold decor as "real gold" while giving her a tour.

The Oval Office has been significantly revamped since Trump took office in January—it features, among other things, fireplace adorned with gold cherubs and medallions, surrounded by portraits of American statesmen in ornate gold frames and shelves filled with gilded figurines, urns, and freshly installed Rococo mirrors.

Sydney Sweeney Speaks Out After 'Christy' Biopic Has One Of Worst Box Office Openings Of All Time

Sydney Sweeney can land a punch, but maybe not at the box office. Her latest film, Christy, a biopic about trailblazing boxer Christy Martin, landed a hard blow but barely connected with the audience, opening to a paltry $1.3 million.

That’s not just a loss; it’s a technical knockout in the “worst wide release openings ever” category, according to Box Office Mojo. For films debuting in over 2,000 theaters, Christy ranks at No. 12 overall and No. 9 when excluding rereleases.
