Hillary Clinton Sets The Record Straight On Just How Many 'Classified' E-mails She Had In Epic Twitter Thread

Hillary Clinton Sets The Record Straight On Just How Many 'Classified' E-mails She Had In Epic Twitter Thread

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton decided to set the record straight about exactly what was going on with the "classified" emails on her private email server in a Twitter thread on Tuesday.

In light of Trump's fans beginning to try to use the investigation about her private email server to justify any potential crimes Trump might have committed involving classified data, Clinton decided it was time to clarify a few things.

The first—and probably most important point she made—was she had exactly no classified emails on her server.

Zip, zilch, zero.

She then said James Comey already admitted as much—as did Trump's own administration.

She went on to point out Trump, on the other hand, did have multiple classified documents in his possession in an unsecured location after he left office.

As one might expect, she's beyond tired of rehashing this..."But her emails!"

Quite a few people pointed out the probable futility of Clinton's statement in the replies, though.

Some speculated about what Trump's followers' next move would be.

Others thanked Clinton for her candor.

While some may still question the veracity of Clinton's statement, it has been widely reported Trump had multiple classified and top secret documents in his possession when the FBI searched Mar-a-Lago.

Trump has even responded to it, and was mocked accordingly.

That probably won't stop his fanbase from trying to spin reality in their favor again, though.
