Comedian and Price is Right host Drew Carey sounded off on people who plan to vote for or endorse former reality TV star Spencer Pratt for the mayor of Los Angeles in a brutal post on Threads.

Comedian and Price is Right host Drew Carey sounded off on people who plan to vote for or endorse Spencer Pratt—the former reality TV star of The Hills—for mayor of Los Angeles, calling Pratt "some serial scammer without a soul or moral compass."

Pratt announced his mayoral campaign roughly a year after his home was destroyed in the Pacific Palisades wildfire. He traveled to Washington to meet with then-Attorney General Pam Bondi and other federal officials about pursuing an investigation into California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, whom he criticized over their handling of the disaster.

Pratt has received backing from a number of Republicans, including President Donald Trump, and has reportedly raised more than ten times as much campaign money as Bass. Although the mayoral race is officially nonpartisan, Pratt is a registered Republican, though he has sought to minimize attention on his party affiliation.

Pratt's own sister, fellow television personality Stephanie Pratt, has called him "unqualified and inexperienced," insisting to prospective voters that Pratt is "just trying to stay famous and sell his memoir."

Now Carey has jumped in, criticizing Pratt in a post on Threads in which he wrote:

"Anyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Prattfall for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of their ass. I understand being angry/unsatisfied, but at least get behind someone competent and not some serial scammer without a soul or moral compass. F**k this guy already."

Others concurred.

With the June 2 mayoral primary approaching, TMZ reported that Pratt is staying at the luxurious Hotel Bel-Air rather than a trailer on his burned Pacific Palisades property, as he had claimed. He has also “inked a deal” for a reality series following both his campaign and a possible term in office.

According to the report, Pratt and his wife, Heidi Montag, were partnering with Boardwalk Pictures, with production supposedly set to follow the couple and their children throughout the political campaign. Though a spokesperson for Pratt denied this, The Hollywood Reporter "learned that Boardwalk Pictures has already approached potential directors about the planned show."

Hillary Clinton Just Threw Some Epic Shade At Trump Over His Push To Print $250 Bills Featuring His Portrait

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton mocked President Donald Trump following a report he approved a proposed design featuring his portrait on a new $250 bill bearing his signature, despite longstanding federal law barring living people from appearing on U.S. currency.

According to four current and former Treasury Department employees who spoke to the Post anonymously out of fear of retaliation, two political appointees at the department—U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach and senior adviser Mike Brown—repeatedly pressed Bureau of Engraving and Printing staff beginning last year to develop prototype designs for the bill.
