Pundit Mocked After Using Questionable 'I Am Legend' Reference to Predict Trump 'Wins 50 States'

Weeks after his cringeworthy reading of Cardi B's and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP," conservative commentator Ben Shapiro is once again generating mockery on the internet.

His latest bomb was in reaction to President Donald Trump's dramatic return to the White House after three days of treatment for the virus that's killed over 200 thousand Americans.

Upon ascending the White House balcony, Trump defiantly removed his mask, despite still being infected with the virus, before entering the White House.

Shapiro tweeted that Trump's antibodies could hypothetically be what cures the virus—a la the Will Smith apocalypse film I Am Legend—and that Trump would go on to win all 50 states.

Spoiler alert:

I Am Legend concludes with Will Smith's character sacrificing his own life to protect the cure for the virus that's brought humankind to the brink of extinction.

The mockery was swift.

The next day, Shapiro returned to say the joke had gone over his followers' heads.

But unlike the cure in I Am Legend, the addendum did little to stop the burns.

Shapiro later followed up with critical tweets of Trump's campaign strategy so far.

Though some of Trump's supporters act as though the President has already recovered from the virus, others are emphasizing that he's been prescribed multiple steroids and is still in treatment.

NASA Chief Responds To 10-Year-Old's Adorable Letter Asking For Pluto To Be Reclassified As A Planet

Those of us who were in school prior to 2006 would be able to recite an acronym or saying that lists the order of the planets in our solar system, such as "My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nine Peaches".

That old saying officially became outdated in 2006, when the final planet in that saying, Pluto, was officially declassified by the International Astronomical Union (IAU), and was thus no longer considered a planet.

MAGA Melts Down After 'Woke' Pope Leo Urges The World To 'Search Always For Peace'

MAGA followers were not happy with Pope Leo XIV and accused him of being "woke" after he, in remarks to reporters, implored "people of good will" to "search always for peace."

The Pope spoke out after President Donald Trump insisted that God supports his war on Iran and declared—before a provisional ceasefire was announced—that "a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again" ahead of a deadline to bomb Iran’s power plants and bridges that legal scholars and world leaders have said would constitute war crimes.

CNN Airs Montage Of Trump Praising Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens And Alex Jones After He Calls Them 'Losers' In Viral Rant

CNN aired a fitting montage after President Donald Trump launched a broad attack on several conservative media figures—Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones—accusing them of being “stupid,” attention-seeking, and out of step with his political movement.

Carlson urged U.S. military aides to refuse any orders involving the killing of Iranian civilians. Owens, formerly of Turning Point USA, condemned the administration as “satanic” and called on Congress to remove what she described as the “Mad King Trump.”

Woman Calls Out Company Over $300 Fee To Keep Photos And Videos Of Kitchen Renovation Off Internet

Social media has not only made information more accessible, but it's made it so much harder to preserve privacy.

For social media influencers, it's important for them to be as discreet as they can be about their living location and frequent places that they visit, because otherwise their followers and viewers could begin to piece together where they go and where they live.
